The City of Ottawa officially took over operations of the golf course recently. The course has been run by Great Life Fitness and Gold the last several years, before being sold to the city by the former Ottawa Country Club owners last year. City Manager Brian Silcott says it’s going to take some time to get the course to where they want it to be
He reports they have a lot of work to do and they have hired Rob Mylnar as the new general manager and head golf professional for the course. He is a native of Lyndon and Ottawa University alumnus. He will begin working with golfers on January 15th with the reopening of the Ottawa Golf Course under city management.
