A middle school student from Princeton will take center stage on one of the biggest baking contests on television Monday, January 6th. Piper Lowe, who has grown up in Princeton, is one of 12 contestants on the Food Network’s Kids Baking Championship. She describes how the winners of each round will be chosen:
Piper was chosen from hundreds of applicants to be on the show, which was filmed in Los Angeles. Piper has been baking since she was two and runs her own business through instagram called Piper’s Pastries and Sweet Treats, in which you can order her goodies.
Episode number one of the Kids Baking Championship will be aired Monday night at 7:00 on the Food Network channel. She will be our guest on this Week’s Community Perspective to talk about her baking, the show and more. Tune in Sunday morning, January 5th for that conversation.
