
A big competition is coming up for Franklin County youth, ready to step into the business world. The Franklin County Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge will take place soon. It’s a competition for student created, managed and owned ventures. Franklin County Development Council Director Paul Bean:
The students will create their own business, build a business plan and present it to a panel of business experts. Big prizes are at stake! One thousand dollars for first place, $750 for second and $500 for third. It is designed for students grade 6 through 12. The business can be made up, or one that they are already running. The deadline to enter is Monday, February 17th. The competition will be held February 27th from 9:00 to noon at Ottawa University.
