Alright, most of us have pretty much gotten over the Chief’s crappy loss in the Super Bowl. You know, where the offensive line looked like someone opened up the flood gates during massive flooding and let the Eagles come rushing in and making Mahomes run for his life pretty much the whole game. Get an “O” line next year! But… I digress…. I really wanted a new Chiefs Super Bowl Three-peat t-shirt. Now, nothing. But… wait… where do all those shirts go? The NFL plans for both outcomes so they’re ready, regardless of who wins.

For 11 years the NFL has been teaming with the nonprofit Good360 to repurpose the losing team;s unsellable apparel from the Super Bowl. This year the losing team’s merchandise is heading to nonprofits in Ukraine, Mongolia, Georgia, Estonia and Latvia. To protect the NFL’s brand, Good360 says it vets donation recipients to make sure the sweatshirts and caps won’t resurface and be resold. The NFL has strict controls to ensure the general public will never see it.

Well, crap. I still want a t-shirt. I wonder if I know anyone in Mongolia that would sell me one.
