An Ottawa home builder says he is beyond frustrated by the lack of communication and cooperation with city officials in dealing with a water line issue in a new home addition in Ottawa. Shawn Markley says what he was told would take 90 days to break ground, took 11 months and nearly financially ruined him. He addressed his frustration with city commissioners:
Markley stated that there were many other issues that have occurred with city officials the past 11 months that he didn’t have time to go through, but would be back to discuss at future meetings, adding that he didn’t feel very welcome. The commission asked that he submit those issues so they could review them.
