The Food Network Kids Baking Championship continues tonight, February 17th, with 12 year old Piper Lowe of Princeton, one of only 6 contestants left in the competition. In tonight’s episode… get ready for cuteness overload! Rudy the mini horse joins Duff Goldman and Kardea Brown to introduce everyone’s favorite challenge — dessert imposters! The kid bakers are asked to create imposters of their assigned animal’s favorite food, and before the challenge, Duff shows off some airbrush techniques to prep them for success. In an unusual twist, the competitors need to incorporate an herb, spice or veggie into their dessert that is safe for their animal to eat. Should be quite a challenge.
Will Piper have what it takes to impress the judges and advance toward the ultimate goal of being the best kid baker in the nation and a $25,000 grand prize? Tune in to the food network tonight at 7:00 for the answer.
