We all know how hard public works crews work to get the streets and roads clear during and after a snow storm. Franklin County Public Works Director Jeff Welton gave an update to county commissioners and praised his crew:
He added that there was some drifting on county roads that caused some problems initially, but they have it mostly taken care of. He says overall, the extreme cold is causing more issues than the snow, and some sunshine today and a little warmth the next few days should make travel much easier.
