Ottawa is designated as a Tree City and from now until March 15th you can get a free tree, courtesy of the Ottawa Library. They have partnered with “Neighborhood Forest” to inspire youth environmentalism and help green up the community. Library Director, Terry Chartier, on how to get a free tree:
Just go to the Ottawa Library facebook page or website and follow the links to get registered. The trees will arrive the week of Earth Day, which is April 22nd.
