Becky Arlene (Catron) Cleaver, age 76, passed away at Medicalodges of Iola on March 6, 2025.
Becky was born on July 13, 1948, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Albun and Lora Catron.
On Valentine’s Day in 1966, Becky married the love of her life, Harlan Cleaver. They had three children and made their home in Iola, Kansas. She was very involved in her children’s lives, spending countless hours at the racetracks, ball fields, sporting events, and more.
Becky and Harlan liked to take drives in the country, happily getting lost along the way. Together, they attended multiple Brooks and Dunn concerts as avid fans. Becky had a very green thumb, which made for a beautiful yard. She also enjoyed doing various craft projects and bird watching. Above all, Becky cherished her dogs and adored her grandchildren.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Dennis Catron.
She is survived by sister, Carol Wilkins; brother, David Michael Catron and wife Marla; children, Jeff Cleaver and wife Susan, Kathy Weseloh and husband Travis, and Dallas Cleaver; seven grandchildren, Katlyn, Halie, Kenzie, Kalob, Emma, Lexi, and Easton; and one great-granddaughter, Westley.
A graveside memorial service for Becky will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Highland Cemetery in Iola, Kansas. Memorial contributions are suggested to Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF) and may be left in the care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
