The City of Ottawa approved bids for the reconstruction of the Ottawa Municipal Airport Taxiway. The project was awarded to Amino Brothers Llc. for $3.8 million. The majority, 95%, of the project will be paid for by grants from the Federal Aviation Association. The question was asked about uncertainty with grants from the Federal government since the Trump Administration has been put in place. Project Service Manager, with Alfred Benishing, Brad Waller says they usually have a 980 days waiting period for cities, however….
If for some reason the grants are not awarded, the city will explore options for funding the projects.
