
Quenemo – Elizabeth Ann “Liz” Hull, 73, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, in Olathe, Kansas. She was born on September 18, 1951, in Flora, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Geneva (Johnson) Hohlbauch.
Liz grew up in Illinois and Dodge City, KS, but she raised a family and made a home in Quenemo KS.
Liz was a Homemaker all of her life but she had earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Emporia State University and worked in the Mental Health Network in Emporia. She was a member of the Quenemo United Methodist Church.
On August 8, 1984, Liz was united in marriage to Rodney Hull in Lyndon, Kansas.
Liz was preceded in death by her husband, Rod, on October 23, 2020; and by her parents, Charles and Geneva.
Liz is survived by her two children, Blake Strother of Gardner and Amy Hull of Kansas City, Missouri; by her two brothers, Bob Hohlbauch and Chuck Hohlbauch, both of Illinois; her sister, Brenda Ragan of Quenemo; and her two grandchildren, Alexis Strother and Lucas Strother. As well as a number of nieces and nephews who will forever miss their Aunt Liz.
Everything and everyone that came into contact with Liz was better off for it. Her legacy of unconditional love spreads far and wide.

Funeral services for Liz will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 5, at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Quenemo. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30pm on Friday at the funeral home.
