RICHMOND — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of tools taken from a pickup truck in the 200 block of Kalloch Street in Richmond between 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday. The theft is this week’s Crime of the Week. An orange Stihl cutting saw with a black handle and a 14-inch diamond-tipped cutting blade were taken from the back of the pickup. Also stolen was a gas monitor kit in a black hard plastic case. The value of the items stolen is estimated at over $1,135. Anyone with information about this crime should call the Franklin County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-311-TIPS (1-888-311-8477). Callers can remain anonymous. Franklin County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of anyone committing a felony crime in Franklin County.
