GARNETT — This summer’s weird weather could be fortunate for Anderson County farmers. Anderson county Extension agent shannon blocker said she has high hopes for the county’s crops. She told the Anderson County Review that the wet weather has given a boost to the county’s soybeans and corn. And if forecasts of average to better rainfall combined with hot weather pan out, she says it will be a good finish for the county’s fall crops.
