TOPEKA — A 53-year-old woman in south-central Kansas woman is the 17th person to die from the H1N1 swine flu. The Kansas Department of Health and Environment said the woman had other medical conditions. The KDHE said H1N1 vaccine has been arriving in Kansas in limited quantities. Franklin County health director Midge Ransom said that because of the limited amounts, she tries to vaccinate high-risk people first. Ransom said she receives word on Wednesday how much vaccine she receives, and she has four to five days to decide how how to distribute it.
