OTTAWA — Organizers are expecting more than 1,000 people at Thursday’s ninth annual Ottawa Middle School community Thanksgiving dinner. Ottawa school food service director Marcia ServatIus always enjoys getting ready and doing the cooking. Although many might be daunted by cooking for 1,000, she said it’s something she and her stuff do every day. The dinner is 11 to 1 Thanksgiving day at the high school.
