TOPEKA — Kansas Insurance Commissioner Sandy Praeger received the Dr. Nathan Davis Award from the American Medical Association this week. The Davis award is the AMA’s top award for elected statewide officials. The AMA lauded Praeger’s work for affordable and quality care for consumers. As a state senator, she won another AMA award 10 years ago.
