PITTSBURG — The deadline is Friday to apply for the Southeast Kansas Regional Leadership Academy. The academy is designed to encourage and train more people to become leaders in their communities. The academy is open to residents of Anderson and Linn counties and 11 other southeast Kansas counties. There will be six day-long sessions that wrap up in late February. Tuition is $300, which includes materials and lunch for each session. Applications re available on the Web site at www.btikansas.com/rla.
