RENO, Nevada – A missing Lenexa woman has been identified as the 11th fatality from last weekend’s air race crash in Reno. She is 71-year-old Cheryl Elvin. Her husband, Chuck Elvin of Lenexa, their sons Bill and Brian Elvin, and daughter-in-law Linda, all of Overland Park; were among the 69 people treated at hospitals after the crash. They were watching the Reno air races when a modified World War II-era plane slammed into the ground about 65 feet from the grandstand were spectators were seated. The National Transportation Safety Board is expected to release a report soon.
