OTTAWA — If you’ve had to go to the emergency room at Ransom Memorial Hospital, you may know one of the newest doctors to join the hospital staff. Dr. Thomas Mitchell has joined as a full-time emergency room physician. Mitchell, formerly an ER doctor at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, has working in the RMH emergency room on a part-time basis. Dr. Dara Lowe, formerly at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., will become a family-care doctor at Ransom Memorial Hospital’s Baldwin City clinic within the next week or two. She is the wife of the new Baldwin City manager.
