TOPEKA — The Kansas Department of Transportation awarded two bids today for more than $2.5 million in improvements to K-68 between Ottawa and the K-268 junction north of Quenemo. Both bids were awarded to Hamm and Subsidiaries, of Perry. Hamm will put a new asphalt overlay on the highway and re-do the shoulder of more than 12 miles of K-68 in Franklin County. In Osage County, Hamm will apply one mile of overlay on K-68 between the junction of K-268 and the Franklin County line.
