LAWRENCE — Two area students were commissioned into the U.S. armed forces Monday. They were among 27 Kansas University graduates and four other students from other colleges who attended KU ROTC programs and who were made officers. Central Heights and KU graduate Christopher Weber, Princeton; was commissioned as a U.S. Army officer. He majored in Slavic languages. Sean Reskey, Paola, is a graduate of Rossville High School and KU and he was commissioned in the U.S. Navy. He majored in aerospace engineering.
