An Ottawa Power Plant employee has retired after 37 years of service. During a special ceremony at the Ottawa City Commission Meeting, Layman Miller recalled advice he gave new employees regarding storms:
Miller says he and his wife started their jobs the same year, 37 years ago; he at the Power Plant and she at Walmart… and now they are retiring together.
