A report of shots fired at a vehicle in Osage County early yesterday morning. About 1:00 yesterday morning, Osage County Dispatch received a call of shots fired at a vehicle that had stopped at 165th and South Osage Road, northwest of Burlingame.
Osage County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with a Burlingame Police officer, responded to the scene. While searching the area, several more shots were fired toward law enforcement. A Kansas Highway Patrol Helicopter and an Osage County K-9 Unit responded to the scene to assist. After an extensive search, the person or persons responsible were not located.
