Every year, Wreaths Across Franklin County places wreaths on every veterans grave in the County’s cemeteries. That takes place in December; however, some preparation work needs to be done before December rolls around. Wreaths Across Franklin County is in need of some volunteers to help today. They need to get the rest of the bows on wreaths. The team is meeting today, from 10:00 this morning until 2:00 this afternoon in the southwest corner of Highland Cemetery.
According to Committee member, Sherry Wright, the Wreath Laying will be December 4th and 5th, right before the December 7th, Pearl Harbor Day Holiday. Volunteers will be needed those days also.
Help honor our Veterans, volunteer to assist putting the bows on the wreaths so all Vets in our County cemeteries can be recognized for their service to this Great Country.
