the Garnett City Commission has narrowed the list for potential candidates for City Manager down to three. They would like the public to meet them at a special reception Friday. You can join them at a Meet and Greet Friday afternoon in the Archer Room at the Garnett Public Library. There will be three different sessions, one for each candidate. At 3:30, meet Kelly Zellner, who is the City Administrator for the City of Fredonia. At 5:00, meet Steven Brooks, the Public Works Director for the City of Girard, and at 6:30, Travis Wilsonk, the Interim City Manager and City Clerk in Garnett.
Comment cards will be provided for the public’s feedback. The comments will help the City Commission in their decision making. All citizens of Garnett are welcome to attend the special reception and Meet and Greet, starting at 3:30 Friday afternoon at the Garnett Public Library.
