An accident Tuesday afternoon on I-35 landed an Overland Park man n the hospital. Just before 2:30 Tuesday afternoon, 37 year old Tammy Womack from Ottawa was driving near mile marker 183 on I-35 when she changed lanes in front of 70 year old William Adams. Adams vehicle left the roadway and struck a guard rail in the area. Franklin County EMS responded to the incident and after checking for injuries, Adams was transported to AdventHealth Ottawa to be evaluated for injuries received in the crash. Womack was cited by the Ottawa Police Department for inattentive driving. She was not injured.
