A proposed duplex housing unit at 314 South Cherry Street, has been approved by the Ottawa Planning Commission. During a Commission Study Session, Ottawa Planner Sarah Anzicek, gave a description of the project:
Anzicek noted that the project shows initiative by the developer to build on a lot that has been vacant for 20 years, instead of building on the edge of town where utilities and streets might have to be extended. The plan goes to the City Commission for final approval.
