Tension may be mounting between Franklin County and the Franklin County Historical Society. The problem seems to be that County officials don’t think the Society is moving fast enough in their transition to the Visitors’ Center as their new home. County Administrator, Derek Brown, says he had a recent email exchange with Historical Society Executive Director, Diana Staresinic-Deane:
The County Commission agreed to ask the Historical Society to respond by the end of November concerning the transition.
