The Ottawa City Commission has finally been able to dispose of The Coves, with the sale of the remaining 28 lots. City Attorney Blaine Finch told City Commissioners that things are moving along quite well:
It was the $11,000 offer that the City Commission accepted. The decision came after some wrangling about some people who inquired on buying some individual lots. The developer, who offered the highest price, however, said he wanted all 28 lots and wouldn’t accept anything less.
