A fatality accident on I-35 yesterday. Shortly after 2:10 yesterday afternoon, at approximately mile marker 179 southbound, a vehicle drifted off the right side of the roadway for unknown reasons and collided with a tree, coming to rest 100 feet off the road in the ditch. Sixty eight year old William Cox, of Clinton, Missouri died in the crash. The Kansas Highway Patrol says Cox was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
