Tomorrow night, Christmas Eve, the Rockwood Acres neighborhood, in east Ottawa, will light up with hundreds of luminaries, lining the street and driveways in a warm glow. It’s a tradition that goes back 50 plus years in the neighborhood on East 15th Street.
Coordinator of the event, Liza Jaworski, says this year they are collecting money and supplies for Hope House, The Blessing Box Foundation and Meals on Wheels:
The event will start at 6:00 and run until about 9:00. the Rockwood neighborhood was built in the 1950’s and has done the luminary event ever since. Jaworski says people of all ager are involved.
Take the family for a nice car ride tomorrow night and enjoy the Rockwood experience!
