The wind storm that blew through the area a couple weeks ago, left a huge amount of trees and limbs down in Franklin County. County crews did a great job of removing the debris from the roads; but, now what do they do with it? County Public Works Director David Lee, says in the coming weeks you’ll probably see smoke from the big piles of it as they burn it off, as weather conditions permit:
Lee adds that Franklin County faired pretty well in the wind storm and damage was not near as bad as it could have been considering the damage done in other counties.
