As we wind down the last few days of 2021, many are looking back at the year and realizing that Franklin County had a pretty good year. Sales Tax Revenue stayed high, indication that people were continuing to shop local. Also, more housing permits were obtained than in recent years. Franklin County Development Council Director, Paul Bean, notes a sharp increase in interest in new industry in the County:
Bean says the local school district is doing a great job of training the students to join the local work force and it’s just a matter of time before industry starts moving into Proximity Park and other areas of the County.
