The Garnett City Commission has a new member. Commissioners Jodi Cole and Greg Gwin had gone over all 10 applicants for the position left vacant by the death of Cody Gettler. At the Commission Meeting last night, Gwin made a Motion
Shehan will be officially sworn in at the first Garnett Commission Meeting in January. He will receive some brief training from other City officials in the meantime.
In other business, the Commission heard from several local residents asking that the City to not spend any more money on Economic Development and instead use the money for upgrades and repairs of certain city owned equipment.
