Three Louisburg band directors will march into the New Year at the Rose Bowl Parade. Louisburg Band Director Zeb Tiedeman, Assistant Band Director Jessica Brummel and retired Band Director Jon Cisetti, have been selected to join a marching band of 270 band directors from across the Country in the Pasadena Rose Parade tomorrow. Cisetti, who retired in May 2019 after serving 40 years as Louisburg’s Band Director, says he is looking forward to experiencing in 2022 what his students did in the Rose Parade. He marched beside the band on their trip to the Rose Bowl four years ago.
Brummel grew up in the Louisburg Band program, but graduated before their Rose Bowl Trip. She says she is excited about the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of the very first Band Directors Marching Band in the Rose Parade. As for current Director, Tiedeman, he says he is looking forward to representing Louisburg and says it has been a great challenge to take on the program that Cisetti left to him.
