More tips. First, if you don’t have to be out… don’t be. If you are out, dress in layers, wear a warm hat, scarf, gloves and a coat. Wear a face mask if you are going to be out for more than just a few minutes, as exposed skin will freeze in just a few minutes and lead to hypothermia and frostbite.
