Today is the first day of class for the Spring Semester at Ottawa University. Students spent the past weekend moving in and getting re-oriented to the campus and making sure they had the supplies they needed for class this week. It’s been a long break. Ottawa University opted to finish the first semester early again this year and went into their winter break at Thanksgiving.
Ottawa University implemented the revised break schedule in 2020 so students would not be travelling all over the Country and then coming back to campus after two weeks, possibly with COVID, then leaving again in two weeks for Christmas break.
As the second semester begins, the Ottawa Campus continues to be in a mask-policy. All students, staff and visitors are required to wear a mask when attending indoor sporting events on campus, as well as when in any building on campus.
