The City Commission Study Session was cancelled yesterday; however, Ottawa City Manager Richard Nienstedt, gave us a preview of things to look for as the new year progresses for the City Commission:
One of those projects, a new swimming pool, will look to replace the Forest Park Pool. The pool in the park is over 50 years old and has out-lived its expected life. The City has to spend a lot every year for repair and replacement of various capacities of the pool in order to get it ready to open in the Summer.
