The Ottawa City Commission has approved an updated Capital Improvement Plan, or CIP. Finance Director Melanie Landis says it included a new feature this year:
Among other things, the plan begins a planning process for a possible new swimming pool that would replace the over 50 year old Forest Park Swimming Pool. The City has to spend a large amount of money each Spring just to get the pool in working order so they can open for the Summer.
