The City of Ottawa is under a tight deadline to update its Flood Plain Maps. Planning Consultant Jennifer Reinhardt says the Federal Government is updating its Flood Plain information:
If the City failed to meet the Federal deadline for updating Flood Plain Maps, it could lose the right to have Flood Insurance or Federal Disaster Assistance under certain conditions.
