Last night the Ottawa Police Department was notified of several vehicle burglaries that occurred. During this investigation, patrol officers arrested an 18 year old Ottawa male and recovered stolen property.
The burglaries happened in the area of Rockwood Estates as well as to residents in the 1500 through 1700 blocks of Apple Lane and Orchard Drive. They are asking residents in those areas to check their security cameras for footage of suspicious activity, during the hours of darkness, would be helpful.
They are also asking anyone else that thinks they may be a victim of a burglary or other crimes to call the Ottawa Police Department.
