It looks like the establishment of a Tax Increment District, also known as a TIF District, is finally drawing near on the Premier Auto Project plan in the South 59 area. Financial Consultant, Tyler Ellsworth, says money raised by the TIF District will pay for a lot of improvements:
Approval of the TIF District has been delayed by the Ottawa City Commission because negotiations took longer than expected. Ellsworth says good progress has been made and the Commission is likely to approve the project at its February 2nd meeting.
