The new Burn Permit System implemented in Franklin County seems to be working fairly seamlessly. Emergency Management Director, Thomas Winters told the County Commission that a lot of people like to try out the on-line system:
In other news, the County Commission approved a Lease Agreement with the Franklin County Historical Society that will allow the Society to use the Visitors Center for the storage of archived records.
