Proximity Park might be used for something besides solely placing new industry. City Officials have been discussing partnering with Evergy to install a new solar array. Franklin County Development Council Executive Director, Paul Bean, had a suggestion for the Ottawa City Commission:
City and Evergy officials encouraged the Commission to make a quick decision on whether they want to go forward with a new solar array.
