We’ve all heard of the issues going on in Ottawa, Canada with the truckers an supply issues. The are protesting vaccine mandates. It’s pretty much paralyzed the City’s downtown core; but, as we also know there are other Ottawa’s around. A man who wanted to join the protests in Canada’s Capital, called in a bomb threat, so police would waste their time chasing it; but, he called the wrong Ottawa. He called Ottawa, Ohio. The man called the Sheriff’s office twice, once with a bomb threat, the second saying he has bee shot. Charges are pending.
Our fine city is not immune to the crazy antics of some Canadians that, from time to time, sound off on our sites. Comments were recently posted from Canadians on a post on the Ottawa Police Department Facebook page. Its post was about the Elizabeth Layton Center and Canadians went ballistic, for no known reason, posting negative comments about the Ottawa Canada Police and their Prime Minister. This went on all day, despite people telling them that they had the wrong Ottawa. One man’s response? The Ottawa Canada Police don’t have a Facebook Page, so they are taking out their frustrations on us.
C’mon Canada, you’re better than that!
