The Ottawa Fire Department is going to purchase more smoke detectors, thanks to a donation from a private business. Fire Chief Tim Matthias told the Ottawa City Commission about the donation:
Matthias says the fire department will install a smoke detector in a home if the occupant is uncertain of how to do it.
