COVID is still running rampant in Franklin County; however, it is beginning to slow down. Franklin County Health Director, Brenda Pfzenmaier told Ottawa City Commissioners that the County positivity rate has dropped to just over 20%. Last week there were 79 new cases, meaning fewer people are getting sick. Vaccines are still encouraged and she told them about an upcoming pediatric clinic:
She says the goal is to get to two to three percent positivity rate and encourages everyone to stick with the COVID Protocols, especially remembering not to go to work of school if you are sick.
