A recent visit of Franklin County by the Federal Emergency Management Agency has wrapped up with generally good results. Franklin County Planning Director, Kenny Cook, says it’s called a Community Assistance Evaluation and it generally examines Flood Plain areas:
Cook says FEMA also checks on the County’s Flood Plain Regulations, which are being updated to ensure compliance with the latest Federal Flood Plain Guidelines.
