Remember the wind storms that swept through western Kansas back in December? Severe storms with winds that whipped wild fires into a frenzy with 100 mile per hour winds?
President Biden has approved a Federal Disaster request by Governor Laura Kelly for those storms. The request is for public assistance for emergency work and the repair or replacement of disaster-damaged facilities. Fifty three counties were named in the request.
