It looks like our area in in for potentially the biggest snow of the year, starting this morning. The National Weather Service says the Franklin County area can expect six to eight inches of snow, with heavier amounts possible. Meteorologist Chad Ommitt says it will start as sleet, then transition to a wet snow about day break:
